This work is a concerto in five sections for pi'pa (Chinese lute) and orchestra. Three movements are for pi'pa and orchestra and two sections are interludes. The first interlude is for pi'pa and solo flute; the second is for pi'pa and solo marimba. A very coloristic work, attractive to audiences of all types
